Forward Deployed Software Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with customers and internal teams to design, build, and deploy tailored software solutions in real-world environments.
In this role, you will bridge engineering and customer needs, delivering production-grade systems, integrating complex platforms, and solving high-impact technical challenges on-site or in close collaboration with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy customer-specific software solutions.
- Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and constraints.
- Develop integrations across APIs, platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues in real time.
- Build scalable backend services, automation tools, and workflows.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve core platform capabilities.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4–7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing engineering or consulting roles.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, containers, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise or SaaS systems.
- Knowledge of observability tools and production monitoring.
