CNC Laser Machine Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines within our engineering and manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will ensure precise cutting operations, maintain production quality, and support efficient manufacturing processes while following safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production requirements.
- Set up machine parameters, materials, and cutting programs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Monitor machine performance and report operational issues.
- Maintain production records and material usage reports.
- Follow workplace safety and housekeeping procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or CNC Machining disciplines.
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
- Knowledge of CNC operations, sheet metal fabrication, and machine setup.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in engineering, steel fabrication, or manufacturing companies.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming basics.
- Knowledge of different metal materials and cutting techniques.
