Shipping Clerk
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support shipping and logistics operations by coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
In this role, you will work closely with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams to maintain accurate shipping records and support efficient distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and delivery records.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipment details, quantities, and packaging accuracy.
- Track deliveries and update shipment status records.
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Maintain inventory and shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 6 – 7 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial companies.
- Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems.
- Knowledge of customs or freight documentation is a plus.
