Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
In this role, you will support maintenance activities, perform inspections, and ensure equipment reliability while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Install, assemble, and test mechanical components and systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing plants, construction equipment, or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety standards.
