Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled STP Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) systems to ensure efficient wastewater treatment and compliance with environmental regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring plant operations, conducting routine inspections, and supporting maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sewage treatment plant equipment and processes.
- Conduct routine inspections of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and treatment systems.
- Monitor water quality parameters and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Record operational data, meter readings, and plant performance reports.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper chemical dosing and treatment processes.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the plant.
- Report operational issues and equipment malfunctions promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience operating Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), or similar facilities.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, and plant equipment.
- Ability to read operational manuals and maintain records.
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or municipal treatment plants.
- Certification in wastewater treatment operations is an advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
