Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of kitchen systems, minimize equipment downtime, and support efficient food service operations across commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related equipment issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen appliances and systems.
- Service ovens, fryers, grills, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Maintain service records and maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and customer service requests.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and gas-operated kitchen appliances.
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, hospitals, or facility management environments.
- Manufacturer certifications or specialized training in commercial kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of refrigeration and cold storage systems.
