Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Cold Room & Refrigeration Technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cold room and refrigeration systems.
In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation of refrigeration equipment, maintain temperature-controlled environments, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair cold rooms, refrigeration units, and cooling systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- Monitor system performance, refrigerant levels, and temperature controls.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain maintenance records and service reports.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and support operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in cold room and refrigeration system maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
- Experience handling refrigerants and refrigeration troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC/Refrigeration certification or trade license.
- Experience in cold storage facilities, food processing plants, warehouses, or commercial refrigeration systems.
- Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
